i made catapults to make a way trhough your wall and attack you now with many units and back up of range k maybe i will lose some units but i can deploy enough new units

thats not a trick, we all know that one. now i know a little trick and i will only tell certain ones about it. if they message me i will tell them.. and only them...

that coward little mirackel in that game attacked me while i was a allie with him and no one must mess with me and he will be sorry about it he suddenly attack almost all my range units and my melee units with range units now i will destroy him and ask the e ville to attack him to because i don`t think it`s normal to attack your allie while he was not even knowing how to take over a castle and i was giving a xtra castle because i already had 2 castles

could we keep this more to the topic of defending a castle and not your personal game problems. the is a forum especially made for that kind of stuff.

Better than building a palisade surrounding your castle walls it's building it three spots in front of your tower, I mean, imagine your rival is building towers just opposite your castle.

Situation
You own some ballistas or marksmen and they're at your towers.
If you've built your palisade this way, and there are enemy comms at "x" building a tower. If you built your palisade this way you could easily defend the open spots (i.e. roads) with melee troops. (Suppose the tower is just at the edge of your ballista range + tower range bonus, then enemy comms would be 1 square away your ballista range) If you have built your palisade that way you can take your ballista outta the tower to kill those upsetting comms b4 they approach to build the tower.

We appreciate that you are asking questions to learn troop strengths, however this thread is for suggestions in defending your castle. I recommend that you read the online manual for general information about the different troops and then post or ask any specific questions you have in 'Question Corner'.

Demonic_Wave i'll try to answer your question.
There is no "best unit to use to counter agiant each" but there are some rules that make attacks more efficient.

- for Bandits, Renegades and Barbarians - use only Ranged units or Knights (no retaliation)
- for Ranged units - use ranged units that have a bigger range or fast units that can reach next to the enemy in fewer turns.
- for melee units use ranged or Rock vs Scisors, Scisors vs Paper, Paper vs Rock, or at least same type of unit; Always try to use higher level troops vs lower level troops (advanced vs basic, expert vs adv and basic, master vs all)

As a basic rule, try to maximize kills while minimize loses or zero loses when is possible. You can use balistas (bigest range) against anything but many balistas without any loses (if you choose right firing range).

You can find another strategies by yourself when playng. It's not neccessary to win every game. Only the last 5 games are important when calculating the score so feel free to experiment.
