Doodoomite really shouldn't join campaigns, he doesn't have a computer and can only access one at the library about once a week.

I'm in a duel with him, those can take forever and it doesn't matter. Maybe he should stick with Duels and Battles until he has better internet access.

Getting a free castle is nice, but it isn't as huge of a deal as it once was when how many barracks you got was dependent on castle ownership.

Now it means 50 extra tribute points, 1000 gold a turn and most likely the goldmines in the area plus incidental tribute producing resource buildings. It's fine, but the game doesn't hinge on it any longer.

One thing about getting an inactive's castle is that you get a lot of exp points without much, if any, loss. This map has a ton of barbarians, too, so one can rack up a lot of points going after them.

so to refresh, terrain and attack/def techs still work. just dont bother with market techs apart from income etc?
