I think Spanard just made a Falchioner during my turn in our duel.... is that supposed to happen?

Of course that isn't supposed to happen and perhaps it didn't. Never heard of this one before.

When I asked Spanard if he did that he said "ya, I was waiting forever for you to move up."

It's not a matter of supporting your contention, I just haven't heard of this ever happening before, perhaps you were mistaken? You were asking, not telling, right?

If it turns out that this happened it is a very wierd bug indeed. Now, have you gotten word that he did pop out a new Falchionier from his barracks during your turn? It sounds like you did, but did he deploy a new troop or move one up during your turn? neither possibility is very good.

Please don't make this personal, I just wonder what and how when I hear of something this unusual.

yes have been able to pop out a troop from your barracks since at least the 08 updates, as long as you have the gold on hand to do so. Nothing new.

during your opp's turn I meant.

I can't recall other than making troops on the others turn. Why should't this be? i see no harm in it. You can't use it.

... I think the way it worked with Spaniard was I moved a bunch of squires up to attack his castle when he had largely pikes inside... then he popped out a bunch of scouts and falch and bo wrecked me... I'd suspect thats the point of it? u convince ur opponent that he can move in with his army then pop out something that will be very advantageous to u that you can use once he ends the turn (the other player having no real way to react since he has already moved..)

And not only that reason, but when it does become your turn you get to fully use the troop you put out in your opponent's turn.

What I'd like to know is... if all you guys knew about this why didn't it get reported sooner????

the way duels are supposed to work to my knowledge is one person moves... then the other... then again the other persons... think chess or checkers

I don't think so, allowing someone to see what you do, then make the countering deployment that becomes active immediately cuts out one whole turn of waiting for new troops.

ya its been happening for a loooong time now. i used to sit and wait and pop out units that way but some players take offense so i dont do it anymore. at least not when my opponent is up close and personal. sometimes after ive ended my turn and notice i forgot to produce something and its relatively far away from the front line i still do...

btw No da vo... how do you know abt updates from '08 if you just joined in december of '09
