| Posted : Monday, December 1, 2008 - 21:44 I'll ignore that, the telegraph isn't something that one person used... Samuel Finley Breese Morse: rest in peace, but it wasn't him.

I was thinking astrolabe (Chris Columbus) but that was a measuring tool so is ruled out...
Harold may have been on to something with musical instrument (i.e. trumpet, though I would say they were common tools) - but the question too narrow with percussion...
It's not an axe (Abe Lincoln) as I presume he was US born as well as cutting tools being ruled out... | | Harold1 DoCJoined 4/21/2007 Posts : 1977
| Posted : Tuesday, December 2, 2008 - 00:45 thanks Mog I just was thinking of perhaps a tool that was used by a famous person in a certain way , a bit like Ben franklin with a kite on a chain and a key lol Im stumped with the whole thing now .....btw @Pict i used the word percussion ,to also include fire arms and cannons ect as well as the instuments and also hammers and presses ,so it covered a range of diff things but still no use LMAO Last Edited : Tuesday, December 2, 2008 - 00:51 | Pict Joined 10/27/2007 Posts : 589

Do you think Mog is talking the US when he said "Americas" or could it be someone from south (or north) of the border?? | | Mog DoC Joined 2/5/2004 Posts : 14304

wait! it just came to me!
its Johny Copperseed, isn't it? that irascible old frontiersman who walked all across the nation, planting new metal veins using his magical lug nuts, and seducing the native female robots into leaving their tribes for him?
