I played a game where if you entered a battle room you could be forced to play as well as the choice to join a game if you wanted

could this make more games take place?

Wouldnt that mean that someone that is looking for a certain room,could be forced to play a game he dosent want too?

The idea is that rather looking at a list of ppl `online` wondering if a game might start, you join the battle arena you are saying you are ready and if there is some one else there a game auto starts

That's sort of like what we already have...someone starts a game and in the who's online section it says "ready" under battle/duel and any player who wants to fight (and meets the requirements) can play them. So, I don't think it would help more games take place...getting more players would help more games take place :-P

no what he is saying is that the person hosting the game can force a person to play a game with him, if both of them are online and in the battle arena...it might work, it might not...people might just avoid going into the battle arena then

That`s the sort of idea I was thinking of ...

Perhaps a `battle zone` and a `duel zone` ,If you enter it is taken that you want to play. If you are logging into the game just to take your turns ,read forums ect then don`t enter a `game zone`

I play online chess a lot on yahoo.You can go inside any room and just hang around,watching other people play,without being forced into a game.When you are ready,you click on the peep you want to play,then click start game.If he refuse,you click on another player.You can also quit in the middle of a game,but you drop in your ranking.That can work with this game also.
