Nobody is THAT old, except TaurusRex. But really, does one have to be old to have some knowledge of the culture one is raised in? I meet young people who know almost nothing about history, world cultures, trivia or anything else for that matter. I also meet young people who read a lot and know about things that happened before their blessed arrival on this green earth.

Mary Pickford was the most famous actress on earth for a long time. She is credited with being the very first "star" of movies. Her career was long over before I was born. Somehow, I know who she is anyway, just like I know who Napoleon or Da Vinci are, and that is because I read.

Maybe if folks put that video game controller down for a few minutes a day and actually had an interest in something besides killing virtual granny they would know these things but I'm not gonna hold my breath for that.
