| Posted : Saturday, January 27, 2007 - 03:24 OK, I fixed some stuff, but I think uk_Ronin is right about the first page, I'll have to go back and mess with it to make it a simple set-up for the first page.
I think TaurusRex's wording is easiest to remember although it doesn't address going from a 2 to a 2.
"You can't move from a 1>2 or 2>1 or 2>2." How's that?
_______________________________________ OK, I think I got a better first page now.
Now, is page 8 correct? I think that's how it works, but I have a doubt for some reason, someone please clarify.
I put a chart on page 9, it is conditional on general agreement on page 8, though.

| Posted : Saturday, January 27, 2007 - 04:30 Nope, Page 8 is wrong. Sage'll be stressed if you don't fix it 'coz he keeps REPEATING it over and over:
You CAN move from a 1 to a 1.
In fact the most general law of ZoC is:
You may move to or from any uncontrolled hex, or from a hex controlled by one unit to another controlled by ONLY a SINGLE unit.

| Posted : Saturday, January 27, 2007 - 06:40 Ok, so I changed that and put the chart on page 8 instead. Perhaps I need to illustrate that it is possible to do that, though? | | darkguy00000 Joined 4/11/2006 Posts : 1009
| Posted : Saturday, January 27, 2007 - 07:01 Probably, apparently thats' where the newbs get lost the most in the whole ZoC thing .
Believe me, if Sage'd saw that he'd have gone off at you . | | Soljah Joined 1/7/2006 Posts : 791

| Posted : Monday, June 22, 2009 - 19:42 It's very close, but Req did change zoc slightly a while back.
For example, on the first page the blue troop can move left-down next to the red unit it's not bordering even though it is next to the first red troop. | | Pict Joined 10/27/2007 Posts : 589
| Posted : Tuesday, June 23, 2009 - 02:13 I think the essential rule is - unless you have to pass through two hexes under zoc to get where you're going you can basically pass no problem.
To block / slow down a stack you have to create a double thickness of zoc'd hexes (if that makes sense to anyone)!
