But see I was right ... I said it since turn #1 Corflu was not a townie ...
... next time listen to gueritol! ... he knows things Last Edited : Saturday, March 3, 2007 - 06:21 | Sage DoCJoined 11/8/2002 Posts : 4070
| Posted : Saturday, March 3, 2007 - 19:16 It wasn''t so much Corflu who lost the game...it was more Coopels (and the rest of the town) winning it. Really, I was impressed with you guys. And remember, these past couple games, I considered a WoL-town to be on the same level of competence as a one-armed Mog on LSD. You guys did super.
If you guys played like this every game, I''d love to keep playing...I was ready to give up if I got another townie role, but now it wouldn''t seem that bad. The only thing I dread is getting a detective role. You guys would never believe me.

| Posted : Saturday, March 3, 2007 - 23:37 I think those that were eliminated early are ready for another one. Those that were in it longer, are probably sick of mafia.

| Posted : Sunday, March 4, 2007 - 00:04 Yes, congrats to the town...well done!
Special cudos to Biscuit and his uncanny knack for rooting out the baddies. I think perhaps the outcome MAY have been different were he not on the town''s side.
AND special, special kudos to Neb for boldly stepping in and doing an awsome job with the storyline...thanks! Last Edited : Sunday, March 4, 2007 - 00:06 | darkguy00000 Joined 4/11/2006 Posts : 1009
| Posted : Sunday, March 4, 2007 - 05:21 I could attempt to host one... I just hope I''d do better at storylines than Acebrock... at least I know what grammar is . | | tarim Joined 10/18/2002 Posts : 2727
| Posted : Sunday, March 4, 2007 - 07:41 Good game guys. Shame that despite my untold rational arguments (and the jumping up and down and swearing at you all)in favour of moss on day one, none of you listened, but then it does take years to train to be a doctor whilst any 12 year old can obtain a flickknife and join a gang.
By the way, I tried to save Gueritol for the first 2 days, thinking he was the Vigilante. Unfortunately I couldn''t save anyone this game, but hey, they were only gangmembers so who cares. | | Corflu Joined 8/22/2003 Posts : 1408
| Posted : Sunday, March 4, 2007 - 19:36 I fought hard at the end. I think the three remaining townies did well. COopels ahd a lot to be guilty about but they did not bite. Well played. I did what I could, and as Wateland can tell you I had the three kills in order and knew they would go with Tarim as the doctor. My mistake was perhaps eliminating The Biscuit instead of Gueritol near the end. But its just second guessing....one guy holding the flag is hard to do. Losing two early was tough. Again, well played to all....except Chunky! | | mwmoss Joined 10/26/2006 Posts : 227

| Posted : Monday, March 5, 2007 - 18:52 Good game everyone!
Special thanks to Sage (the snake) who helped make this interesting for us townies. Remember to kill him early and often in future games! LOL
It''s nice to finally get a win for the townies. Corflu''s been mafia three games in a row? Sheesh. Corflu played it very well this game, I really wasn''t sure who it was until the very end.
Coopels did a great job of pulling back from the brink of being lynched, to using logic to figure out for sure who the final mafia was.
Wasteland was a cool cucumber until he made the fatal mistake of withdrawing his vote from Sage. Yeah, I caught that.
I must admit to seeing Sage and kong online in IRC after kong voted for neither Sage nor mwmoss, and then kong changing his vote right after that to mwmoss. Gut instinct said kong was mafia then, because I was sure Sage was.
Gueritol and tarim both have some great instincts and are a great addition to the game.
mwmoss, you did great. Too bad that Sage had both Coopels and Neb buffaloed, but we were close to saving you and the game would have been so much easier.
And a very special thank you to Neb, who despite his sorry play, took over from the drool meister to give us a great story! I laughed at all the songs and thought there is no way I could come even close to his writing talent!
Well done everyone (except for the inactives) ! | | Nebuchadnezer DoCJoined 6/9/2005 Posts : 3017
| Posted : Monday, March 5, 2007 - 19:22 Heehee...after drooling all over the place I had to redeem myself somehow! Writing the stories is fun, but time consuming. If only I knew how all those tunes sounded.
I''d be willing to mod another game in the future, but not right now... | | Biscuit Joined 9/15/2003 Posts : 1893
