Not a guess, but I'm thinking revolver or gun, but first I was thinking coffee pot until it was said it's not a kitchen item that is.

However, I think you may misunderstand about household items, gang. When I waffle about an item, it generally means the item could conceivably be in any room, including the kitchen, attic, whatever. Some rooms may be more likely than others but for instance, I live in a one room apartment! I'll give you this, it would most likely be in either the living room or bedroom in most homes, I guess.
