Ok, this may or may not be another question. Is the character played by the same actor on both TV and in the movie? I didn't want to think this was implied, but if it was, please disregard the question!

That also implies there is ONE actor. Which leaves out James Bond, Batman, Shelock Holmes, etc. It is hard to think of that many famous TV and then movie personalities that are not based in North America. Perhaps in...space..!!??

My question then - does the TV/movie series character live largely in space? (I am thinking of the Star Trek series here people, but the question covers more. James T. Kirk where are you!)

I agree with you Corflu, in as much as I think the implication is that the same actor played the character both on TV and the movie, but Mog might not have intended to say that, hence my question. It also means it can't be the Highlander as the move came first.
