Just wondering if everyone is continuing to vote for WarOnline...

We need new players and the only way to get a steady stream of new players is to vote on game sites to keep up our visibility. Particulary MPOGD.com

I've voted once, only becasue I thought u could only vote once...how often are we allowed to vote at mpogd.com?

As far as I can tell, one IP address is allowed per voting cycle (month). Meaning: if you are using your work/school internet connection, *probably* once per month. If you dial up, between 254 and about 65,000.

I usually vote once every other day or so (i.e. when I remember). I've been rejected once.

MPOGD is wierd for me, it lets me vote twice from each account. Both my isps assign me the same ip address every time sadly. But they let me twice. I don't understand why, they just do.

I thoguht that you could vote once a day. For people with unchanging IP's. Mine changes every time i sing on so i vote and click on the banner everytime i come online. Once or twice a day...

Darius do you have a cable/DSL modem or something?

I have a standard 56k modem. I'm with a different isp now, so I might be able to vote more. I don't understande it at all.

How can you tell if your vote has been registered? I click on Vote, but nothing much seem to happen. The screen updates, but nothing is added to the total votes! (This was on the previous board where WarOnline was already in the top 10)

If your vote is valid (only one vote per IP Address allowed) the count will increase.

I vote everyday too, I mean I found this game (which rocks! =) on mpogd top list and it's really alot better than most, maybe even all of those currently listed top 10 at mpogd!

How it works is every time you log on or change accounts you can vote once.

Every time you connect to your ISP they give you new address, so every time you can vote. That could be 20 votes in hour or even more (if you'll try real hard)
Anyways, after my last vote waronline.net got to 9th place, but after some time Utopia got it back, i say lets kick that Utopian ass.
